Hi!
I am a nursing professor working toward retirement.  I created this blog to explore issues related to  this journey.  I hope to explore more than just finances.  I envision the choice of healthcare options along with the switch to Medicare as being one adventure.  I have been talking to my retired neighbors regarding the choice of a medicare advantage plan versus the medicare supplement.  There may be some changes that will affect the medicare advantage selection coming soon.  I will be interviewing one neighbor that is quite pleased with medicare advantage.  He will outline the pros and cons as he sees them.  His wife on the other hand has chosen a supplement and will outline the advantages of that selection.  I will complete some review of information on changes expected with the medicare advantage plans related to the Affordable Care Act.
